Paulora is a body double. Tell her a task, she breaks it into steps – then talks you through it out loud and stays with you while you actually do it.
Download free on Google PlayNo account. No card. Breaking tasks down is unlimited, forever.
One loop. Not ninety-four features.
Type it or say it – “the kitchen”, “my tax return”, “reply to that email”. She turns it into steps, with a first step small enough to start now.
A voice says the step out loud and then stays present while you work. “Okay. Just this: make the bed. I’ll stay with you. Begin whenever your hand moves.” Quiet check-ins, never nagging.
One tap breaks the step down again. Hands full? She hands the rest of the list back to you and gets out of the way.
No streaks. No guilt screen. Disappear for nine days and she picks up where you left off, because a productivity app that punishes you for having ADHD is the wrong tool.
Real screens, nothing mocked up.
Two limits on the free plan, and Plus lifts them. That is the whole difference.

Breaking a task into steps is unlimited and always will be – it is the part that helps even on the days you don’t start, so it is not something to ration. Picking a paused task back up is free too, and never counts against your five.
Payment is handled by Google Play. Paulora never sees your card.
Subscriptions renew until cancelled, and you cancel in the Play Store, not in the app. You keep Plus until the period you have paid for ends.
No free trial that quietly charges you. No introductory price that jumps later.
No ads, ever. Nothing in the app is sold to anyone.
If the price ever changes, Google requires your explicit consent before charging more.
Body doubling is a known ADHD strategy: work goes better when someone else is simply there. The problem has always been finding that someone at 9pm on a Tuesday.
App fourteen broke the task down beautifully, then left you alone with it. The breakdown isn’t the hard part – the starting is.
Booking a stranger on video for 3pm requires the executive function you were short of in the first place. Paulora is available when the moment happens.
Ten minutes turns into four hours, or a five-minute job waits a month. She shows you your guess against the clock afterwards, without a lecture.
Streaks punish exactly the thing you downloaded the app for. There aren’t any.
No. It was built around how ADHD brains stall on starting, and it works for anyone who knows the feeling – diagnosed, waiting for an assessment, or neither.
No. Paulora is a productivity companion. It is not treatment, diagnosis, or a substitute for professional care.
Free uses a clear, natural stand-in voice. Plus uses Paulora’s own voice – the one the app is built around – plus four others to choose from. Everything else about a session is identical, and the limits are the only other difference.
No. She talks; you don’t have to. You can run a whole session by tapping, and there is a Quiet mode if you want her silent entirely.
Your tasks, your name and your history stay on your device – we keep no copy. Uninstalling deletes everything. The only thing sent to our server is a one-way hash of a device ID, used solely to keep the free daily limit fair; it cannot be traced back to you and is not shared with anyone. Be aware that dictation uses Android’s own speech recogniser, which on most phones sends audio to Google to transcribe it. That is the same system every app uses for voice input. If you would rather it didn’t, type instead – everything works either way.
Yes, in the Play Store under Subscriptions, in a few taps. Plus stays active until the period you have already paid for runs out, and nothing else changes – your tasks and history are untouched.
Not yet. Android only for now.
Five talked-through sessions a day, free. Breakdowns unlimited.
